RARE/ODD CAST ALBUMS
BABES - LA cast, with a young Susan Egan. Transfered from a cassette tape, but still decent quality.
Show was a Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney "Lets put on a show!" idea, with a twist. Not great, but some music worth listening
to.
BABY - Philippine Cast highlights, with Lea Salonga and David Shannon. They sing "The Story Goes On",
"Two People In Love", and "I Chose Right"
THE BLUE FLOWER - 6 tracks, recorded by the group "The Weimerband", who wrote the musical. Best described
as a German/Country mix. One of my favorites.
JEEVES - Original
1975 London Cast Album, transferred from LP.
GONE WITH THE WIND - Original London Cast 1972, Transfer from LP, Music/lyrics by Harold Rome, with Harve
Presnell and June Ritchie.
HOT PANTS - Singaporean musical set in the late 70s with an incredibly catchy title song.
KRISTINE FRAN DUVAMALA - (3CDs) Another musical from the boys of ABBA. Its all in Swedish, but some typically
strong music here.
THE LIEUTENANT - This is the 1975 unreleased
Cast Album, transfered from LP.
LOOK TO THE LILLIES - LP tranfer, 1970 Studio cast
MARILYN - an album recorded by Stephanie Lawrence as Marilyn Monroe that preserves several songs from
the Broadway flop "Marilyn: The Legend".
MATADOR - concept album with Tom Jones.
NEFERTITI - LP transfer. Closed pre-Broadway in late 70s. With Andrea Marcovicci, Robert LuPone and Michael
Nouri. The bad (Egypt Is Egypy Again) is bad, but the good stuff (Everything Is Possible, Someone Is Here) is awesome. Some
noise, but overall a good transfer.
PHILEMON - LP transfer. Schmidt & Jones off Bway show, with Dick Latessa.
PIPPIN - LP transfer, Original Australian Cast with John Farnham
PLEASURES AND PALACES - LP transfer, 1970 Studio Cast.
SING TO THE DAWN - Another cast album from Singapore. This one has a more traditional Asian sound, lushly
orchestrated. If, like me, you enjoy that, this is a must have.
SNOW WHITE - 1979 - Disney's first NY show, transfer from LP, from Radio City Music Hall, with a few new
songs, with Mary Jo Salerno and Richard Bowne.
SPEND, SPEND, SPEND - the cast album which was only released at the theatre of this London flop. Great
score.
THOU SHALT NOT - Original Broadway Cast Album with
Kate Levering, Norbert Leo Butz, Craig Bierko and Debra Monk.
UTAH! - This is a Mormon musical about the early pioneers to Salt Lake. But if you like Aaron Copeland
type music, you'll love this. The overture is amazing, the score is consistantly satisfying, and the leads are all strong
Broadway types.

ABROAD WITH TWO MEN - 1997 - This has the best ever version (or at least the funniest) of the theme to
the Olympics.
